PullenBoy was founded by proud North Carolina natives with a vision rooted in family, resilience, and opportunity.

Like many entrepreneurs, we started with humble beginnings—working traditional 9-to-5 jobs while searching for a way to create a better future for their family, especially to support their oldest daughter’s education. Determined to build something of our own, we remained open to opportunity when it came.

That opportunity came through a conversation with a friend who introduced us to the trucking industry. Recognizing the potential, we took a leap of faith and purchased our first 18-wheeler—launching what would become PullenBoy Hauling. Through discipline, sacrifice, and determination, we quickly expanded our fleet to four trucks, gaining traction in the over-the-road trucking industry.

Founded in 2017, PullenBoy Hauling has since grown into a trusted name across North Carolina for hauling and site support. As a certified NCDOT dump truck company, the company transports critical construction materials—including aggregates, asphalt, and debris—supporting infrastructure and development projects throughout the region.
 

Then came COVID-19—a defining moment that tested businesses across the country. Instead of retreating, we made a strategic decision to pivot. We diversified by adding a dump truck to our fleet, entering the construction and hauling space. That single move reshaped the future of the company.
